Church- strategy to reach the community immediately surrounding our campus.

FHBC has embraced the surrounding area (Ferris Hill Street, east; Magnolia Street, North; Munson Hwy., South, and Byrom Street, West) as missionFIELD1.  We have surveyed the homes in this area (January 2012) and are responding to the identified needs by developing strategies to bring more jobs to the area as well as create a safer environment for families.

Home- strategy to deploy our members to reach their neighborhoods.

We have developed training to equip FHBC members to be missionaries to their respective neighborhoods.  As part of this missionFIELD2 strategy, we believe that God has purposed everyone to live in  specific area to accomplish His mission; therefore, like a missionary would live in another country, we desire ou people to leverage their life and home to reach their neighborhood.

Haiti- ongoing partnership with Haiti in building people in numerous cities.

For several years FHBC has sent teams to Haiti (Les Cayas, 2009; Mirebalais, 2010; Les Cayas, 2011; Cap Haitien, 2012).  Our focus has been to build people through leading a VBS for the children, leading a conferences to equip Pastors and their wives and to lead a revival for the community.  Haiti is one of those countries that are easy to forget, but we know they are center stage for God’s redemptive plan and we want to take the message of the hope and grace of Jesus to them in a land filled with voodism.  Haiti is our missionFIELD3

World- strategy to connect with and reach an unreached/unengaged people group in the world.

missionFIELD4 represents the people around the world who have never heard the of the grace found through Jesus Christ.  There are several thousand people groups in the world who are “unreached-unengaged”  FHBC is currently pursuing to adopt at least one of these people groups and have the privilege of being the first to share the hope of the cross with them.
