- This is not a solo effort, but a joint venture.
- The Holy Spirit is our helper, continually working in us, even our desire for godliness comes from Him.
- The Bible commands us to pursue godliness but not without help.
March 15 (Week 10) - The Pursuit of Godliness
Text - 1 Timothy 6:11-16
- Key Theme - Using a road map/strategy.
- A godly man is known by what he follows after, flees from, fights for, and is faithful to. The result of following this combination always results in godliness.
March 22 (Week 11) - Direction Not Perfection
Text - Philippians 3:12-14
- Key Theme - We will never achieve perfect godliness on this side of heaven.
- There will be times when we fall short.
- Its not about achieving perfection, but about the direction of our lives.
- As Christians, we should be growing in godliness.
March 29 (Week 12) - Living in Light of Our Victory!
Text - Hebrews 12:1-2
- Key Theme - In the times we do fall short, it is important to remember our ultimate victory is in Jesus Christ.
